I got this skirt after my second shopping ban was over. I found it on sale at Zara for $19 from $50 so I thought that was a pretty sweet deal. It's faux leather, the perfect red wine colour and HAS POCKETS! God, give a girl some pockets and she'll be happy as a clam. Sad note these boots zipper broke shortly after, damnit! I love my shit kickers.
This still in edmonton tee is still top of my rotation, it always gets a giggle from people (especially on days when it's snowing and -30). It's the perfect black tee and goes with everything. Especially this skirt and the light grey moto jacket. I bought this jacket for my NYC trip last spring, was unsure of it but have come to really like it in the transition seasons. Or on a particularly mild winter day in YEG.

There's nothing I love more than a piece of clothing that is versatile. I don't want to waste time on something that I can only wear once, or with one thing. I bought this skirt on a whim last year I think on black friday and it turned out to be a great piece! A black leather skirt is definitely a great staple for any wardrobe, it can easily be dressed up or down.

Co-Pilot
This tee has gotten probably the most play out of anything in my wardrobe. A plain white tee is a wardrobe hero, it does a lot of heavy lifting, and this one is too cute with the "my dog is my co-pilot" on it. It's true, he is my co pilot!
I almost didn't keep this leather skirt when I got it, didn't think I would get enough wear out of it. Oh boy, I was wrong. I've worn it countless times in countless ways. Paired with a simple tee it's more casual but often I'll dress it up for a night out with Darcy.
Can't be caught wearing my co-pilot shirt without my co-pilot! He's such a good boy, posing so nicely for these photos. Probably helped that he was very tired from our earlier dog park adventure! What a lucky dude.
