Call Me Mellow Yellow
Get ready to see me in a variation of this kind of look over the next few months. Black, white and a punch colour. I'm glad gingham has made a resurgence in trends these days because it has been a longtime favorite of mine. Perfect for summer!
I picked up this moto jacket off a friend over a year ago and honestly have gotten so much use out of it. I love a good moto jacket, for some reason I don't have one in black.....yet. I have my eye out for a good one everytime I go to the vintage shops. Also can we talk about how cool these sunnies are? I love a funky pair of sunnies.

This coat is heavy in my rotation, essentially my go-to. It's super cozy but we've hit -17 temperatures so it is in need of layering, which is why this waffle sweatshirt is perfect. Both are super soft and cozy as all hell which is what I want when it's this cold. I'm annoyed that the temperatures went from +15 to -17 in a week but, that's alberta. Just means I get to wear my beanies all the time now. I love a good beanie, especially if it has a pom!

I feel in love with this little suede number a few weeks ago when the temperatures started to dip and I love it. It is without a doubt the comfiest piece of clothing I own. It's so soft and who doesn't love a simple tshirt dress? They're super versatile, easy to dress down or up. I can see myself getting a ton of use out of it as the temperatures drop, layer it up all cozy like or dressed up. For date night I added these chunky heels and denim jacket. Nothing like a simple combo that's cute and feels great on.
Now is it the weekend yet or what??
